LPSS Calendar 2024–2025 is not a daybook calendar.
It’s the rhythm that binds students, teachers, and families together as one school week after week.
From student first day of class in August to final day of ringing last bell in May, every day counts.
Every day of this calendar is learning, development, and experience served together.
The First Day of School: A New Beginning
Back to school once more. Doors bang out with anticipation and jingle with such sweet aromas.
Students come flooding through doors in new shoes, new books, and new stomachs. Teachers welcome them with smiles and open arms, home at last.
Seniors start the final page. The magic starts for the young’uns.
Everyone’s in, ready, and on their toes by week number one. LPSS is home at last.

Reports and Progress: Step by Step Progress
Stepping stones. LPSS keeps the steps intact so that everyone is being fed.
September, November, February, and April Progress Reports.
October, December, March, and May Report Cards quarterly.
Parent-Teacher Conferences provide family time to converse, to listen, and to create new goals.
Baby steps keep the pipe afloat home to school.
Families and Community: LPSS Heart
LPSS does not do children. LPSS does dedicated families who build learning rich.
Parents visit open house, read newsletters, and pride themselves with a sense of achievement with their child.
Email, text, and newsletters keep parents and guardians in the know.
Home-schooled scholarship students bring children to spread their wings. That is the LPSS way.
Character and Values: There Are More than Lessons in Books
Learning is more than a grade. Learning is learning character.
Respect, responsibility, and compassion are taught to our students through LPSS.
Catalyst moments along the way during the course of the year first-day building, Thanksgiving service, and spring reflection bring things into perspective about what’s most important.
Those are the types of memories children will carry with them for years to come upon graduation from the classroom.
Clubs and Activities: Where Passions Come Alive
School life in full swing begins when the final bell sounds.
Club, sports, and the arts bring the dream alive.
Top Clubs: Student Council, Robotics, Theater, Art, Debate, Environmental, Service.
Major Events: Homecoming Week, Science Expo, Cultural Day, Spring Carnival.
They all create teamwork, leadership, and lifetime memories.
School Spirit and Sports: Pride in Motion
LPSS schools are ablaze with pride and spirit.
Families come to all team games, rallies, and activities as a family.
Fall: Football, Volleyball, Cross Country
Winter: Basketball, Cheerleading, Wrestling
Spring: Softball, Baseball, Tennis, Track
Sport teaches us discipline, teamwork, and perseverance — most priceless things to possess which take us a very, very long way further than the pitch.
Learning and Technology Today
LPSS classrooms are old school and new school.
Smartboards, computers, and technical support set learning and thirst for learning free.
Rehearsals and report cards for parents at their fingertips all the time.
Children give families a sense of approximately how well they will be doing.
Professional Development & Teachers’ Workdays
Workers learn, too.
LPSS restricts conference days and staff development days.
Teachers are able to sleep in their own bed but children come to school more ready and classrooms more ready.
Their commitment is quantifiable on the success of every child.
Student Wellness & Support
Safety with oneself is indeed very easily within reach when one is able to become more educated. LPSS promotes mental and emotional safety year-round.
Activities:
- October Wellness Week
- February Career Awareness Week
- May De-Stress Days
Counselors and staff ensure that everyone of the students is safe and well taken care of.
Community and Service Projects
Volunteering by the students has been a tradition since long at LPSS.
Charity fund raisers, clean-up campaigns, and food drives are counted up by the students.
Projects eliminate the risk of doing something for a people with something small and being a good person.
Seasons of LPSS Life
There is a note sung during every season.
Fall: Routine and discovery.
Winter: Thought and concentration.
Spring: Fiesta and growth.
Summer: Pride in what has been done and going out.
All merging together — their voice throughout the year by LPSS.
Graduation: The Proud Conclusion
May is anticipation and excitement.
Caps in the air, family clapping, and smiling teachers’ faces.
Graduation is not the end — graduation is only the start of all that is to follow.
A time for joy, a time for celebration, and never to turn back.
