The First Day of School: New Faces and New Dreams
First day is wonderful. Smiling faces on kids coming to school in new shoes. Dreaming backpacks full of curiosity. Smiling parents hovering at door with smiling faces.
Smiles precede the teachers wherever they go. Hello friends hello friends. New questioning eyes of new children gaze in wonder.
First bell has rung. Classrooms hum the purr of learning being back. Life normal again after week one.

Breaks are equilibrium. They are a time when all individuals can catch his or her breath and unwind.
Labor Day (September): First weekend of growth.
Thanksgiving (November): Thanks and home.
Winter Break (December): Coziness and humor.
Spring Break (April): Excess and sun.
Memorial Day (May): Memory and love.
All holidays are available to all for rest and relaxation.
