LoneStar School Calendar 2024–2025 is not only a calendar of dates. It’s a story of a year of enjoyment, development, and studying. It is the union of the soul of individuals who study and develop day after day.
Each day counts. Each day is a memory. School year brings parents, students, and teachers together. It is not school opening and closing only. It is what happens in between those moments which shape young minds and hearts.
The First Day of School: A New Beginning
LoneStar’s inaugural school day is a gem. Huggins and smiling faces ring out across the campus. Enormous smiles from staff and open arms. New book scents and fresh shavings from pencil sharpeners fill classrooms.
Snaps are snapped and victorious waving by parents. Young’uns load up backpacks as big as vases. Older’uns wax poetic about summer vacations. Everyone looking forward to something new and marvelous just beyond the horizon.
Acclimation week. Orientation for new students is occurring. By the last week, the whole school is again running in concert together. Home at last.

Fall semester serves as the foundation on which the rest of the year is established. The students study new things and discover new interests. The faculties cause them to learn interesting things. The clubs start working. The sports teams start practicing.
By October, the campus is filled with laughter and color. Midterms arrive but the mood is good. By December, students and staff can’t wait for holidays, having labored so hard with pride.

Winter is the season when it is finally time for the students to return to work. They are back on solid ground after last holidays have flown by. Group projects, presentations, and new ideas are the domain of the coming few months.

Breaks and Holidays: Time to Relax and Have Fun with Family
Breaks have to be there in LoneStar. They provide teachers and students with time to relax. Families take vacations, picnics, or just calm days at home.
Labor Day (September): A fine long weekend to welcome the semester.
Thanksgiving Break (November): To be thankful, to eat and to be hugged by relatives.
Winter Break (December): Sleep, happiness and magic of the holidays.
Spring Break (March): Sun, travel, and slumber.

Reports, Grades, and Progress: Step by Step Progress
Learning is a process at LoneStar. Progress is monitored, recorded, and rewarded.
Midterm Reports: Mid-term reports to remain on track with students.
End-of-Term Reports: End-of-term report cards which monitor effort and achievement.
Parent–Teacher Conferences: Successful conferences about objectives and progress.
Parents and teachers collaborate to offer support to students so that all children can succeed. Parents are alerted by the portal as well as through frequent communication.

LoneStar teachers are professional lifelong learners. They attend training workshops and sessions during a year.
Teacher days give teachers the time they require to plan. Also collaborate with colleagues and generate new classroom ideas. Students are home. But it is all behind the scenes making education more innovative and strong.
Make-Up and Emergency Days: Safety Always First
Yes, occasionally it will bucket rain and emergencies do occur. LoneStar is ready.
In the case of having to cancel school day, notice is through email, text, and school app. Make-up days are also on the same day to stay on top of learning. Our safety is our first concern.

When the month of May arrives, smiles and tears fill campus. Achievement award ceremonies seal victory. There are numerous hugs and signing yearbooks.
Graduation day signifies the closure of one book and the opening of another book. Everyone graduates victoriously with eagerness for the next book.
