Henrico County Spring Break
In April, we have some exciting things happening! First off, from April 1st to 5th, we’ve got Spring Breakāa time when families can take a break from school and enjoy the start of spring. It’s perfect for doing fun things together like going on trips or just relaxing at home.
Then, on April 10th, both students and teachers have a special day off to celebrate Eid al-Fitr. This holiday is all about inclusivity and understanding different cultures. It’s a chance for everyone in our school community to learn about and respect each other’s traditions. So, mark your calendars for these dates and get ready for some well-deserved time off and meaningful celebrations! Look at Gwinnett School Calendar.
Memorial Day At Henrico Schools
In May, we show respect for the brave men and women who served our country by shutting down schools on May 27th for Memorial Day. This gives us a chance to remember their sacrifices. As the school year comes to an end, we wrap things up on May 31st. It’s a special day with a shorter schedule for students and a day for staff to finish up paperwork and say goodbye before summer break starts. So, May isn’t just about closing books; it’s also about honoring heroes and bidding farewell to another school year. Get info about Sumner County Schools Calendar.
Teacher Clerical Day
June kicks off with a special day for teachers on June 3rd called Teacher Clerical Day. This day gives teachers time to learn new things and get ready for the next school year. Then, on June 19th, schools stay closed to honor Juneteenth. This is a day when we think about freedom and fairness for everyone. Also, on June 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, some offices are closed. This gives important workers a chance to rest and recharge. So, June isn’t just about the start of summer; it’s also about learning, reflecting, and taking breaks.
